I would never book a Run of the House room at MGM. Because there is such a big difference between the West Wing and Grand Tower rooms. Most here will strongly recommend that if you want to stay at MGM, make sure you get a Grand Tower room. MGM is the much better property that Flamingo in every way. This should also be reflected in the rates. 'Run of the house' at Aria = fine. 'Run of the house' at MGM = West Wing room on the first floor that gets as much light as a tomb. This is a very important point. If you are going to accept this type of reservation, make sure you are aware of what the worst room is like at that property.
